Reggie Ragland. 31. player. 45. . ILB. Alabama

Reggie Ragland is one of the top 15 prospects in this draft, but inside linebackers traditionally don’t fly off draft boards early unless they’re the elite level of prospect like a Luke Kuechly. I think the reigning SEC Defensive Player of the Year is slightly below that class so I think he’s gonna slide to the bottom of the first round.

Ragland is an old school middle linebacker who isn’t afraid to mix things up as a downhill attacker, which is why he was so good at Alabama for Nick Saban. But the reason he falls to No. 31 is because  I worry about his sideline-to-sideline speed and ability to shed blockers without Alabama’s great line in front of him helping him stay clean and his ability to drop in coverage.

If the Broncos lose Danny Trevathan in free agency this would seem to be a perfect match.
