How does Arizona State respond to major coaching staff changes?
Arizona State will be without deputy head coach Mike Norvell, who left to take over as head coach for Memphis. Norvell took ASU’s tight end and defensive backs coaches with him. Norvell was a great coach for the Sun Devils but it seemed as if it was only a matter of time before he got picked up for a head coaching gig.

The coaching changes didn’t stop there. Their defensive line coach left for Missouri to take on the same role. Then, running backs coach Kodi Burns left for his alma mater, Auburn. A few days later, Arizona State’s recruiting coordinator left for Auburn as well, leaving Arizona State without six of their coaches from 2015.
That’s not including the departure of Bo Graham, Todd’s son, who stepped down just a few weeks prior to the 2015 season after having relationships with a former student-athlete at Arizona State.

A major coaching overall could throw off the chemistry for this Sun Devil team, especially losing many key players on both sides of the ball, including Mike Bercovici, DJ Foster, Christian Westerman and Jordan Simone.
It might take some time for this team to find their identity, but Todd Graham figures to reload his roster with some of the top junior college prospects in the nation and has had a young stable of quarterbacks in the works to solidify a very young and powerful backfield.
