Will Oregon bounce back to reclaim the Pac-12 North?

Oregon had a shaky start in 2015, which ultimately held them out of the Pac-12 Championship Game. Towards the end of the season, Oregon was looking like one of the best teams in the nation.

After suffering an embarrassing home loss to Washington State, the Ducks closed the regular season out with six straight wins, including wins at Washington, Arizona State and Stanford, as well as home wins vs California and USC.

They carried that momentum into bowl season, taking on the TCU Horned Frogs in the Alamo Bowl, coming out to a roaring 31-0 lead at the half. We then witnessed one of the greatest collapses, or comebacks, in bowl history, with TCU storming back to tie the game at 31 and head into overtime, winning in triple overtime.

Now, Oregon will be with another new quarterback, their third in three seasons. Whether it’s Dakota Prukop or Jeff Lockie, the Oregon Ducks will have to move forward in their spread offense. They also lost a potential top 10 pick in DeForest Buckner, leaving a porous defense is terrible shape for 2016.

It’ll be interesting to see where the Washington schools end up falling, challenging the Ducks and Cardinals, making the North an extremely competitive division.
