Dez Bryant knows who the Dallas Cowboys should take with the fourth overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

We know Jerry Jones is running the show in Big D where the owner/general manager of the Dallas Cowboys is in charge of all personnel moves.

But, if wide receiver Dez Bryant had a voice in the team’s war room during the 2016 NFL Draft, the All-Pro receiver knows who the Cowboys should take.

Bryant thinks the Cowboys need to take Florida State Seminoles defensive back Jalen Ramsey with the fourth pick in the draft. Bryant gave his answer during Friday night’s NBA tilt between the Golden State Warriors and Dallas Mavericks when a reporter asked for his draft take.

Taking Ramsey at four would be a great addition, but the problem is he might be gone to the Cleveland Browns at No. 2 or the San Diego Chargers who own the No. 3 pick.

But Bryant’s line of thought makes perfect sense and should quiet those who want the Cowboys to spend their top pick on a quarterback like Carson Wentz or Jared Goff to serve as an understudy to Tony Romo.

While Romo has battled injuries in recent years, Jones isn’t going to give up on him and take a quarterback that high, which would signal the end of Romo’s time in Dallas.

They could take a quarterback in the later rounds, but they have to take a player who can help them with Romo.

Ramsey can do that.

He tore up the Combine and showed he may be the best athlete in the draft and the All-American who can play cornerback or safety would get a baptism by fire by defending Bryant every day in practice.

The Cowboys have swung and missed on former first-round picks like Morris Claiborne and Mike Jenkins, but taking Bryant would be their best defensive pick taken in the draft since Terrance Newman who was the fifth pick in the 2003 draft out of Kansas State.

Do you agree with Bryant that the ‘Boys need to take Ramsey?
