There were hefty expectations for Vince Young as he entered the NFL in 2006, taken third overall by the Tennessee Titans behind Mario Williams and Reggie Bush. His trophy case was filled, he had broken virtually every record possible at Texas and Vince Young was primed to go down as one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in all of college football.

His career was promising, earning Pro Bowl honors as a rookie and winning NFL Rookie of the Year. He was a runaway winner with the rookie award, ahead of the likes of Marques Colston, Maurice Jones-Drew and Reggie Bush, but still, he didn’t have an a standout season. However, he did hold an 8-5 record as the starter, including four comeback wins.

Despite holding a 30-17 record with the Tennessee Titans, he was released and then picked up by the Philadelphia Eagles. He got three starts that season in 2011, finishing with a 1-2 record. His contract was up and he was not retained.

The Buffalo Bills took a chance on him on May 11, 2012, only to release him on August 27, 2012. One year later, the Packers signed him to a one-year deal on August 6, 2013, and was released on August 31, 2013. The Cleveland Browns decided to roll the dice. Vince Young latest less than two weeks with the organization.
