Jared Allen seems to be a pretty strong comparison for Joey Bosa. Both long and powerful on the end, able to work their hands on the offensive line to get through. A much better run stopper as well, similar to that of Shaq Lawson, forcing plays in a direction the offense did not intend to go.

Some scouts didn’t quite buy into the hype of Bosa with his lack of speed to get to the quarterback. But he’s another guy who could play in a 4-3 or 3-4 defense. This is where another comparison like Ryan Kerrigan would come in. An extremely long edge rusher who can stand up in the box.

He has flaws, but it’s hard to argue that he won’t be a safe pick for whatever team drafts him. He’ll be a defensive chess piece that will likely be able to produce for a long time to come.
