We saw BYU and Utah match-up in the Las Vegas Bowl last bowl season, in a game that the Utes almost blew away after a first quarter route. But Utah has dominated the Holy War, winning the last five in a row and 10 of the last 13 matchups, 15 of the last 22.

Utah is going to look a lot different going in with a new starting quarterback, without Devontae Booker, or an experienced defense. BYU will have already played Arizona, getting a pretty solid test heading into the Holy War.

You don’t need a lot of motivation for a rivalry game and BYU’s seniors sure don’t want to go out winless against the Utes. This is going to be a pretty solid matchup in Salt Lake City.
