10. Missouri Tigers

Not much separates Arkansas and Missouri who I believe are destined to be stuck in SEC purgatory. They aren’t bad programs by any stretch, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t immune to lost years, like what the Tigers experienced last year.

With Gary Pinkel no longer the man in charge at Missouri, the Tigers had to resort to a young coordinator with zero head coaching experience in Barry Odom to take the job. The former Missouri player may be a nice fit and do some good things there but it was clear Missouri isn’t attracting A-list coaching candidates.

Missouri is more of a basketball school than it is a football school and despite a pair of SEC East division titles, they still feel like an outsider in the conference.
