Controversy – Florida State Seminoles

Tell-Tale Lyric: I just can’t believe all the things people say
Controversy

When this single was first released back in 1981, Prince was just starting to make a name for himself, and the Florida State Seminoles were struggling to win and to find an acceptable identity.

Could you think of a program that has been more immersed in controversy in the last few decades than Florida State? From the “Criminoles” to “Free Shoes University” to the exploits of Jameis Winston and Dalvin Cook, it seems the Seminoles always have something to answer for off the field.

It might be an unfair label, as most programs go through issues with players and coaches off the field, but FSU always seems to find their way into the limelight when trouble arises.

There’s always seemingly someone pointing a finger the Seminoles’ way, can you believe all the things people say?

Controversy.
