Ezekiel Elliott. 1. player. 123. . RB. Ohio State

Forget about the talk that you can’t take running backs this high in the NFL Draft. Ezekiel Elliott is going to be a fixture on Pro Bowl rosters for the better part of the next decade. If you have a chance to take a player who is going to be a perennial 1,200-yard rusher and be a starter from the moment he sets foot on the practice field, you take that player.

Elliott is the best home run hitter in the draft and the best power back in the draft. He’s the best blocking back and he can catch the ball out of the backfield. He can touch the ball 25 times per game and be a big presence on third down. The Cowboys have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL and they get a runner who can score from 60  yards out or from the 1-yard line. He does it all.
