NFL Draft 2016: 9 biggest steals in first round
I thought Laquon Treadwell was going to be the first receiver off the board and get drafted in the top 10 before the Combine in February. But after he decided against running the 40 there and then running a slower-than-ideal time in the 40 at his Pro Day, he began to slide down draft boards after the 4.6 time.

He was never a speed merchant as a receiver so I wasn’t as turned off with his 40 time and think he can be an excellent possession receiver who grows into a No. 1 receiver. Teddy Bridgewater needs to be more accurate and throw the ball better for the Vikings passing offense to take off and getting a security blanket in Treadwell should be his new best friend.
After striking gold in the fifth round last year with Stefon Diggs who can take the top off the defense, they have a great complementary talent in Treadwell. If Kyle Randolph can stay healthy, the Vikings have the makings of a nice offense with Adrian Peterson still running strong.
