Johnny Manziel tweets messages for doubters and his lovers
Former Texas A&M Aggies Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Johnny Manziel admitted to making mistakes and wishing he’d done things differently.
Johnny Manziel broke his silence on Twitter just as the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft was getting underway. It was only two years ago Manziel was being introduced to the Cleveland Browns as a first round pick of the club.
Now, Manziel is out of the NFL after being released and was watching the first round from a bar.
He’s fallen on hard times since he came out of nowhere to beat Alabama as a redshirt freshman and lead the Aggies to an 11-win season en route to smashing SEC records and becoming the first freshman to win the Heisman Trophy.
This is exactly the problem that’s facing Manziel. He was making regrettable decisions before he was the starting quarterback at Texas A&M and this behavior followed him to the NFL and now as an unemployed player who has been fired by two agents this offseason.
Manziel went from a punchline to a sad story people hope won’t see a tragic ending. This isn’t the first time Manziel has said he’s made mistakes and he has to act differently.

He spent time in a rehab facility last year but it may be time to take another break from the life he’s living and get help so he can come out a new and better person.
It’s unlikely any team will take a chance on Manziel until he does that otherwise he’s going to go down as one of the biggest busts and cases of wasted potential of all-time. Based on this tweet, it doesn’t sound like Manziel is ready to make any changes.
