Deshaun Watson may be the front-runner for the Heisman Trophy this year after finishing in third place en route to leading the Clemson Tigers to the National Championship Game. I think there is a sizeable gap between Watson and No. 2 quarterback prospect, Kaaya, and can see Watson going first overall to a team like the Cleveland Browns.

The Browns have two first round picks next year after acquiring the Eagles pick when they moved down this year, so even if Cleveland doesn’t get the first pick as a result of their record, they will have the ammunition to move up if necessary to get the dual-threat quarterback.

Watson saw his freshman year interrupted because of a myriad of injuries but stayed healthy as a sophomore and provided he can avoid serious injury as a junior, he’ll in a position to be the next in a long line of quarterbacks to go first overall.
