UCLA, Jim Mora agree to two-year contract extension
UCLA locked up head football coach Jim Mora to a two-year extension that runs through the 2021 season.
UCLA athletic director Dan Guerrero announced the school agreed to a two-year contract extension with head football coach Jim Mora.
Terms of the deal were not revealed but Mora is scheduled to receive $3.45 million in 2016 with a $10,000 increase each season until 2019.
Mora is 37-16 in his first four seasons with the Bruins, which ties a program record for the most wins in a four-year period. Mora’s teams have played in four straight bowl games, compiling a 2-2 record.
UCLA finished ranked in the final AP Top 25 poll in 2013 and 2014 when they finished No. 16 and No. 10, but finished unranked after a 8-5 season last year and a 5-4 mark in the Pac-12.
The Bruins should be poised for a rebound season in 2016 with quarterback Josh Rosen leading the way. Rosen had a fine freshman campaign last year and showed flashes of being capable of being the best quarterback in college football.

He will be in contention for the Heisman Trophy and if he gets enough help around him, could lead UCLA to a Pac-12 Championship Game appearance and a potential berth in the College Football Playoff in a best-case scenario.
