Miami junior linebacker Juwon Young was suspended for violation of department rules stemming from his use of a luxury vehicle from a car agency, according to the Miami Herald.
Young is away from the team and his status for the upcoming 2016 season is in doubt as the NCAA investigates the possible rules violation.
According to the report from the Herald, there are serious doubts that Young will be able to play for new head coach Mark Richt in 2016. It is unclear if Young paid for the use of the vehicle or if he has any intentions to play for the use of the car.

Miami is already on probation until October but Young is not the only member of the football team in hot water.
Starting defensive end Al Quadin Muhammad is under investigation by Miami to determine if he was involved with this car agency too. He has not been cleared, but he also hasn’t been suspended and remains with the team. The anticipation is he will be with the team this year.
Losing Muhammad would be a more significant loss for Richt who takes over at his alma mater after 15 years as the head coach of the Georgia Bulldogs. He is the Canes best pass rusher after recording five sacks and 54 tackles last year.

Young, however, could have challenged for a starting spot, but likely would have played a reserve role behind Shaquille Quarterman at middle linebacker after recording 57 tackles in 10 games last year as a sophomore.
