Dan Mullen knows how to have fun and this video of him skurfing in advance of SEC Media Days is further proof the Mississippi State Bulldogs head coach has enjoyed his summer vacation.

Dan Mullen will meet with the press at SEC Media Days on Tuesday, and if he looks like he’s well-rested and has a nice tan, there’s a good reason for that.

Mullen shared a video to his personal twitter account on Monday morning before SEC Media Days kicked off that sees the head coach of the Mississippi State Bulldogs showed off his skurfing skills.

If you don’t know what skurfing is, don’t worry, I didn’t know either until I saw this video. It’s basically freeriding on a surfboard without using the tow rope and apparently Mullen is a skurfing aficionado.

Hopefully, Mullen gets a question or two about his skurfing prowess from the media gathered at the Wynfrey Hotel in Birmingham or maybe he’ll just bring it up himself.

It’ll be a light-hearted portion of his address that will likely include a number of questions about how Mississippi State will replace Dak Prescott, the best player in program history, at quarterback and the decision to let Jeffery Simmons enroll. The top recruit was seen on video assaulting a female but is able to enroll with certain provisions.

Perhaps, Mullen will attempt a filibuster and “talk about” his activities this offseason, which also included him running in the Boston Marathon, to take away some of the hard-hitting questions he’ll get in regard to a rebuilding Mississippi State team.
