Stanford Recruiting: 4-star WR Osiris St. Brown commits to Cardinal
The Stanford recruiting class added the commitment from four-star wide receiver Osiris St. Brown.
What a year it has been for Stanford. They have had a tremendous one to say the least, and that continued with a commitment on Friday from 2017 four-star wide receiver Osiris St. Brown (Mater Dei. Anaheim, CA.) This news was first reported by Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports.
St. Brown is the No. 147 wide receiver in the 2017 class, No. 20 wide receiver, and the No. 16 player in the state of California per the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
He was highly valued across the country, notching 21 offers in total.
On the Stanford front, he was first offered by the program on February 3. Notre Dame and Oregon were also in the mix but in the end, the Cardinal claimed the recruiting victory.

With this commitment, the Cardinal continue to add to a solid recruiting class. St. Brown marks the fourth four-star commitment of the class, one that ranks No. 47 in the country and No. 7 in the Pac-12 per the 247Sports Team Rankings.
St. Brown told Wiltfong that he is excited about what the 2017 class brings to the table and excited to play with quarterback Davis Mills and tight end Colby Parkinson.
“This class is gonna be special,” St. Brown said. “Davis is the best QB in the class of 2017 which hypes me up especially because I’m a receiver! Colby already has the size to play in college right now. I feel like we can truly make some noise once we all get up there!”

Brown’s quick footwork makes him a matchup nightmare for defenders. He gives Stanford a viable deep threat at the position as they look to show that their recent rise to the top of the college football world is not a fluke.
