Mark Richt continues to be aggressive in recruiting, and that paid off again Monday as 2017 four-star cornerback Trajan Bandy (Columbus. Miami, FL) committed to the program. This news was first reported by Ryan Bartow of 247Sports.
Bandy is the No. 235 player in the 2017 class, No. 29 cornerback, and the No. 38 player in the state of Florida per the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
He was held in high regard across the country, receiving 36 offers in total. He was recruited to the Hurricanes by cornerbacks coach Mike Rumph and wide receivers coach Ron Dugans.
Bandy attended a Hurricanes camp on June 21, 2015, and that would be all it seemed for Miami as the Oklahoma Sooners offered him on January 7, and were named his leader on February 17.
