SEC Football Power Rankings: 10 best quarterbacks entering 2016
This is the start of the difference makers in the SEC. Joshua Dobbs led Tennessee to its best season since 2007 with a 9-4 season. He was responsible for 2,962 yards of offense and 22 touchdowns using his arm and his feet to keep drives alive and put up points for the resurgent Vols.
He was ultra efficient with only five interceptions all season and knows not to force a pass when it’s just not there. Helping his cause in the backfield is Jalen Hurd and Alvin Kamara who combined for nearly 2,000 yards and 19 rushing touchdowns. This trio represents nine returning starters on the Tennessee offense.

With that much experience returning at key positions, it is easy to see why the Vols were picked to be the SEC East champs at SEC Media Days in July. Their returning starters on both sides of the ball should give them a shot to live up to their preseason hype and Dobbs will be the biggest key to their success.
He definitely showed off the wheels last season but this year, he has to improve on his passing after failing to complete 60 percent of his passes. If there is a flaw in his game it is accuracy and while his 2015 was solid, he will have to turn in a herculean effort to claim the SEC championship.
