Jake Browning had some tough stretches in 2015, his freshman season but Browning needs to be respected and should have a huge year in 2016.

Browning has a big arm and is a classic pocket passer. The Huskies have the players around Browning to truly elevate his game, particularly in running back Myles Gaskin, who like Browning, excelled in his freshman season. Washington also has stars such as John Ross at receiver for Browning to air the ball out to.

The biggest question mark will be the protection of Browning. The Huskies offensive line was not always up to snuff against the top defensive lines in the Pac-12 in 2015. If the line has improved from last year, and they should with three returning starters, then Browning will be able to take control of the offense and let it rip.

Browning, along with the weapons he has on offense, gives the Huskies a great chance to win the Pac-12 North in 2016.
