  • Career Stats: 1,840 passing yards, 12 TDs, 8 Ints
  • 2015 Stats: 1,840 passing yards, 12 TDs, 8 Ints

Lamar Jackson had a little bit of an up and down freshman season but overall he played very well, particularly in the Music City Bowl against Texas A&M. In that game, Jackson went 12-26 for 227 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jackson also rushed for 226 yards and added another two touchdowns on the ground.

That game alone proved the type of talent that Jackson has and has to have Head coach Bobby Petrine excited for the 2016 season.

Jackson has to improve his passing game in order to eventually move up this list, but 2015 was his freshman season. Jackson should make strides in the passing game in 2016.

Louisville will have weapons around Jackson. The receivers are tall and fast. The Cardinals also return three offensive line starters which should provide a protection boost for Jackson.
