  • Last Season Record: 2-10 Overall, 0-8 Pac-12
  • Season Opener: at Minnesota | Sept. 1
  • Key Games: at Minnesota, Boise State, at Colorado, Oregon

Gary Anderson didn’t have much when he stepped in to Oregon State at the beginning of last season — and it showed. The Beavers won just two games last year, against Weber State and San Jose State. Conference play was horrific, too. Not only did Oregon State fail to win a game, they failed to even compete in any game. It was a season that Beaver fans will want to forget.

This season, though, looks to be slightly better than 2015. Utah State transfer Darell Garretson is taking over at quarterback, and has a plethora of weapons to throw to. But after averaging just 19 points per game last season, the Beavers still have a lot to prove offensively.

Oregon State was picked to finish last in the Pac-12 preseason media poll, and for good reason. There are just too many questions, and not enough improvement made over the offseason to warrant anything else. So while the Beaver hopeful are waiting for Anderson to revive their program, it’s not going to happen this season.
