  • Last Season Record: 4-9 Overall, 1-8 Pac-12
  • Season Opener: at Colorado State | Sept. 2
  • Key Games: at Colorado State, Washington State, Oregon State

Last season was a struggle for Colorado, with the Buffaloes only winning four games. Their one conference win was against Oregon State, who failed to win a conference game. Everything else seemed to be a struggle for the Buffaloes.

So while things are looking up for the Buffaloes, it’s only slight. They return all but two starters from last year’s offense, and will undoubtedly be more experienced. Quarterback Sefo Liufau is back and healthy after injuring his foot last season, and he has a solid supporting cast returning in running back Phillip Lindsay and wide receivers Devin Ross and Shay Fields.

Their defense finished seventh in the league last year, too, which isn’t terrible considering they won only four games. The Buffaloes return most of its defense, too, which should help immensely.

This Colorado team has a lot of returning players on this team. Things could go really well, especially with the plethora of experience on both sides of the ball. But they could struggle again too.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
