Lee Corso’s College GameDay headgear pick: LSU vs Wisconsin
College GameDay is at Lambeau Field for the game between LSU and Wisconsin. Find out who Lee Corso picked and which mascot headgear he wore.
The opening week of the 2016 college football season is loaded with marquee games. College GameDay could have gone to a few different spots but they are making history with their pick. College GameDay is at Lambeau Field where the Wisconsin Badgers will play the LSU Tigers.
This is the second time in the last three years that the two teams opened the season against each other. LSU edged Wisconsin two years ago with Leonard Fournette making his college debut. That game also saw Melvin Gordon leave the game in the second half with a hip injury.
Hopefully, there is no injury to Fournette, the biggest star in this game, and the game provides great theater for fans. We know there will be great theater in the morning with Lee Corso on College GameDay.
The former head coach has been a staple on GameDay for more than two decades. He’s still bringing the heat too and fans love his headgear pick at the end of the show. This is when Corso puts on the mascot headgear of the team he’s picking to win the game they’re at.
He’ll either wear the tiger head of LSU or the Badger one for Wisconsin. The Tigers come into the game ranked in the top five so it would seem that will be Corso’s pick. Then again, you never know when Corso is going to pull a fast one. Corso will be in Wisconsin and surrounded by Badger fans, so he could feel the pressure to pick the Badgers.

My prediction is Corso is going to pick LSU and it shouldn’t even require that much time to come to that conclusion.
We’ll know for sure who he picks around 11:55 am (ET) when he and the GameDay panel makes their picks for the LSU-Wisconsin game. When he makes the pick, this post will be updated with video of Corso making his trademark pick.
[UPDATE:]
Lee Corso did indeed pick LSU, and decided to troll the whole state of Wisconsin in the process. Not only was the tiger head wearing a foam cheesehead, it had foam cheese in its mouth as well.
