Virginia looks to bounce back from an FCS loss. Oregon looks to show that it hasn’t left the national stage. Here’s how to watch Cavaliers vs. Ducks online.

Oregon opened the 2016 season as they seem to normally do; in dominating fashion. The Ducks defeated UC Davis 53-28 at home in the home debut of transfer quarterback, Dakota Prukop. The Ducks offense looks efficient as ever, and the defense seemed to be playing better.

Virginia kicked off the 2016 season in the worst way possible, a 37-20 loss to FCS power Richmond. The Cavaliers looked anemic, to say the least and are hopeful to turn things around in their game against Oregon.

Oregon will be looking to continue to show that the defense has improved since last season. Virginia isn’t a top 25 team, but if they are able to hold the Cavaliers to 10/17 points, then Oregon can take that as a sign of improvement.

Virginia needs to jumpstart their season and could use a victory over a top 25 team in the Oregon Ducks. The Cavaliers will need to be efficient on offense if they want to even have a stones throw chance at beating Oregon. Virginia’s defense will also need to confuse Dakota Prukop and force him into mistakes to get an upper hand in this matchup.

The Ducks should roll in this game. Virginia just does not have the talent and experience needed to upset a far superior team such as Oregon. Dakota Prukop should continue to shine at the quarterback position and the Ducks defense should continue to show improvement under defensive coordinator, Brady Hoke. This late Saturday night game could get out of hand quickly if Virginia doesn’t show up to play.
