East Carolina and South Carolina will face off this Saturday and you can catch the live stream for the game.

South Carolina is having trouble finding out how to score more than 15 points in their matchups. They won week one 13-10 against Vanderbilt then lost to Mississippi State 27-14. The ground game has no game and the rotation at quarterback of Brandon McIlwain and Perry Orth at quarterback is not working either. Mcllwain, however, provided some inspiration when he came on last week against Mississippi State. Perhaps he will get the start this week against East Carolina.

East Carolina will face their second Power House 5 team after defeating NC State last week. The Pirates have no trouble scoring points as they won 33-30 and 52-7 against Western Carolina in week one. The quarterback isn’t an issue either. Philip Nelson was on target, completing 33 of 43 passes for 297 yards and a touchdown.

South Carolina will need to find a way to put up points and perhaps Mcllwain is the answer at quarterback? One thing for sure, running back A.J. Turner will need to start picking up yards if any team is going to respect the Gamecocks passing game.

East Carolina will need to shore up that running game while preparing for both Mcllwain and Orth. Their defense got shredded in the run by NC State for 215 yards. They are going to need their defensive front to plug up those holes and force South Carolina to pass.

The Gamecocks crowd is going to be through the roof for their first home game so that will hamper the Pirates offense, but just not enough as scoring is what East Carolina can do more of. They end up with the victory 28-24.
