The Wake Forest Demon Deacons are 3-0 for the first time since 2008. They creep up to fifth in this week’s ACC Power Rankings, however the injury to quarterback Kendall Hinton could affect things down the road.

The Demon Deacons still recorded 302 rushing yards despite being bitten by the injury bug. Four different Demon Deacons scored a rushing touchdown in the game.

Sophomore running back Matt Colburn ran for a career high 118 rushing yards and a touchdown. Backup quarterback John Wolford rushed for 70 yards and a score while passing for 155 yards and another score.

It was a convincing victory once against for a Demon Deacon squad that could shake things up ACC Atlantic Division.

Next Week: @Indiana

The Demon Deacons have one more out of conference game against Indiana before they start their ACC schedule. Wake Forest lost to the Hoosiers last season 31-24.
