Every team eventually has a downswing in its record. Which schools’ fans keep showing up even when their team suffers through a bad year?

Loyalty is a nebulous concept, but for college football fans it means an unwavering allegiance to his or her school of choice, year in and year out, regardless of what glories or pitfalls happen to come in any given season. We often want to claim loyalty, but which schools’ fans back up the claim with the numbers?

We’ve broken down the attendance figures for the past ten years of FBS football and correlated them against the season winning percentage of every team that played at the I-A level for the entire decade. What follows is the ranking of the 30 most rabidly loyal fan bases in college football. Some teams will be familiar to even the most casual fan of the collegiate game, while others might end up surprising even the most diehard follower. Click through to see if your team made the cut.
