Five AP Top 25 teams were idle this weekend. Will any of the other 20 teams in the rankings fall out after their Week 4 performances?

Twenty percent of the teams in the AP Top 25 stayed home and took Week 4 off. There were also four different head-to-head showdowns featuring Top 25 teams on both sidelines. Some teams had everything on the line, while others were able to wait for the dust to settle to see where they stood after a bye week.

There will inevitably be some shifting in the AP poll this week. There were a few scares, but it looks like everyone that was in the rankings after Week 3 will likely stay in the poll this week. It is actually a rare occurrence — should all of the Top 25 remain from last week, it will be the first time it has happened since Week 14 of the 2011 season.

But then LSU suffered its second loss of the season, this time in a dramatic ending on the road to a 1-2 Auburn team that could only kick field goals, and it means we will probably have one new team in the rankings. After the end of the primetime games have ended and a little of the night action, here is our guess on how the hierarchy will look when the pollsters have all submitted their ballots and the Associated Press has tallied the results.
