Clemson took on Georgia Tech on Friday night in their ACC opener, and the Tigers easily ran away with a 26-7 victory. Deshaun Watson looked better at QB than he has all season, completing 66.7 percent of his passes for 304 yards and two touchdowns. The run game was held in check by the Yellow Jackets as Wayne Gallman racked up just 59 yards. But the Clemson defense was dominant, holding GT to 124 total yards of offense to lock down their Top 25 spot.

Next week one of the biggest games of the year looms for Clemson as they host third-ranked Louisville. A defense that is allowing only 11 points per game will have a tough task in trying to contain Lamar Jackson. If the Tigers hope to defend their conference championship and have a shot at returning to the College Football Playoff, they must survive a strong Cardinals crew looking to make another statement.
