Wake Forest vs Indiana Live Stream: Watch Demon Deacons vs Hoosiers Online
By Tim Kaiser
The ACC-Big Ten challenge creeps into football. Wake Forest and Indiana meet for the second time in school history. Find out how to watch it live online.
Wake Forest has already matched their win total from all of last year, and we are only three weeks into the 2016 season. This might seem like cause for celebration, but it is a very suspect 3-0.
Last year, Wake’s schedule was set up almost identically to this year’s. One FCS team, one lower level FBS team, one ACC team and then Indiana. Last season, the Demon Deacons beat Elon and Army with a loss to Syracuse sandwiched between them. They then only won one of their next nine. This year, they took care of Tulane in the opener and beat Delaware last week. Their 24-14 win over Duke would be more impressive if the Blue Devils were not breaking in a new quarterback.
Indiana also scheduled light early, as they come in 2-0 with wins over FIU and Ball State and are coming off a bye week. The Hoosier won the first meeting between these two schools last season in Winston-Salem 31-24.
Because both of their schedules are so slight, the small sample size is probably even more fraudulent than it would be otherwise. Having said that, Indiana’s balanced offense is averaging 253 yards passing and 216.5 yards rushing. Wake has had the 12th best rushing defense in the country, surrendering just 79.7 yards per game.
There has been minimal line movement as you would expect from a game that will go largely unnoticed. The total is a bit interesting at 45, as these two teams combined are averaging 29.2 points allowed.
