It was another wild week in the college football landscape which has seen the dismissal of LSU head coach Les Miles to start. The LSU Tigers are out of the AP Poll and the Wisconsin Badgers are at their highest ranking since 2011.

Week 4 was another week of wild finishes. The LSU Tigers lost after a touchdown in the final seconds was overturned while the Oregon Ducks dropped their first game to the Colorado Buffaloes since 1998.

The AP Poll sees newcomers as well which is always a good thing. The Boise State Broncos and TCU Horned Frogs climbed back into the AP Poll this week.

The Broncos are off to a 3-0 start and the Horned Frogs are back in the rankings after their Week 2 loss to the Arkansas Razorbacks.

With new entrants also comes some losses as well. The LSU Tigers and the Oklahoma Sooners are now out of the rankings. The SEC is a wide open race after Alabama as it looks like the LSU Tigers are going to have a down season. But the Texas A&M Aggies have looked good and have gotten the attention of AP voters thus far as well.

LSU Tigers

The LSU Tigers are off to their worst start since 2005 at 2-2 and are out of the AP Poll rankings. To add a bit more to the adversity, head coach Les Miles and offensive coordinator Cam Cameron have been relieved of their duties.

The LSU Tigers started the season at No. 5 in the AP Poll but their fall from grace is the latest in the struggles in Baton Rouge. Head coach Les Miles has been dismissed after 12 seasons as the LSU Tigers head coach.

It’s been quite the road for the LSU Tigers these past few seasons with Miles going 4-4 in the SEC last season. This season, the Tigers are off to a 1-1 start after losing to Auburn 18-13.

LSU defensive line coach Ed Orgeron will serve as interim head coach for the remainder of the season. Orgeron went 6-2 in his last stint as interim head coach with USC.
