Here’s how you can watch Thursday night’s Kansas vs Texas Tech game from Lubbock online.

Texas Tech has an incredible offense, there’s no question about that, but the defense is nowhere to be found. In fact, the Red Raiders put up 55 points against Arizona State a couple weeks back and still lost.

If Texas Tech continues to win and maybe even contend for a Big 12 title, which might not be likely given the fact that the Red Raiders’ defense is suspect, you can look at Patrick Mahomes II as a potential Heisman contender. The junior has been impressive this year, passing for 1,493 yards and 14 touchdowns while completing 71 percent of his throws.

Mahomes also has 138 rushing yards and four touchdowns, ranking second on the team behind Demarcus Felton. There are already eight receivers with over 100 yards on the season for Texas Tech, but Jonathan Giles leads the way by a wide margin, catching 19 passes for 346 yards and five touchdowns.

Kansas, on the other hand, has had a rough go of things early on in 2016. The Jayhawks have already dropped two games in three tries to Ohio and Memphis, and both of the defeats were by double digits. The Jayhawks could definitely make some noise with a win over Texas Tech, though.

Montell Cozart is the team’s starter under center, passing for 484 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions with a 68 percent completion rate. His numbers aren’t bad, but if the Jayhawks continue to struggle, changes may take place. Steven Sims Jr. leads all receivers with 253 yards and four touchdowns on 11 catches.
