Arizona State vs USC live stream: Watch Sun Devils vs Trojans online
Here’s how you can watch Saturday night’s Arizona State vs USC game from Los Angeles online.
Arizona State is one of those teams that still doesn’t truly have an identity this season and no one knows how good, or bad, the Sun Devils really are. They have begun the 2016 season with a 4-0 mark, but no wins over ranked teams and a suspect defense against Texas Tech and California, although high-powered offenses, shows glaring weaknesses.
The Sun Devils basically just have to win shootouts against opponents because the defense has a tough time against solid offenses. So far, they’ve been able to hold their ground behind sophomore quarterback Manny Wilkins who has 1,085 yards and five touchdowns with three picks and a 67 percent completion rate.
Kalen Bellage might be the most exciting player on the field Saturday when these two meet up. He’s already rushed for 277 yards and nine touchdowns on 6.4 yards per carry while catching 13 passes for another 139 yards and a score.
Clay Helton’s career at USC has gotten off to a shaky start, to say the least. The Trojans began the season ranked No. 22 in the country, but a 52-6 loss to Alabama and two more defeats on top of that have the Trojans reeling despite having a ton of talent on the roster.
Many are questioning Helton’s ability to lead the program, but the fact of the matter is that these kids just aren’t playing well. There’s a quarterback battle brewing between Max Browne and Sam Darnold, who have similar numbers this season, which doesn’t bode well this late in the year.
JuJu Smith-Schuster is probably wishing he was in the NFL right now. He’s having a quiet season so far, catching just 19 passes for 197 yards and two touchdowns. The revolving quarterback door is a major reason for his lack of production.
