College GameDay will be down in Clemson, South Carolina this week for Louisville vs Clemson. This game will be a huge matchup and have a huge impact on the college football playoff. GameDay was in Clemson last year, for Notre Dame vs Clemson. A game in which Clemson won by stopping Notre Dame in a two point conversion. This game feels a lot like the Notre Dame vs Clemson game and should be just as good if not better.

For Clemson to have a chance in this game, they will have to contain Lamar Jackson. He has already scored 25 touchdowns on his own. Only one school has scored more touchdowns then Lamar Jackson, and that is Michigan. He can do it both ways, with his feet and with his arm. He is so agile that if you miss the first tackle, you could be in some deep trouble. His play making ability will be on view for the world to see. If Clemson can stop him, they have a great chance.

Clemson’s defense will be the key to this game. Contain Lamar Jackson, and you’ll keep him off the field and out of harms way. Clemson leads the series between the two teams at 2-0, but the line on the game says that Louisville is favored on the road. That says something about both teams. It shows just how good Louisville is, and how underachieving Clemson has been so far this year.

Big question of the day will also be who Lee Corso picks for his head gear pick. He is now 2-2 after picking Florida over Tennessee. Smokey didn’t like that. He has picked against Clemson the last two times. He took Notre Dame and Florida State. So will he take Clemson finally?

Lee Corso finally took Clemson.

The crowd gave Corso a small boo as he picked their own team. Perhaps they don’t like Corsos recent record for picking games.
