Two contenders for the ACC crown from across the divisional divide meet up in Tallahassee on Saturday. Here’s how to stream North Carolina vs. Florida State.

The last time the Tar Heels and Seminoles played, TJ Yates led Carolina to their first win in Doak Campbell Stadium and just their second win over Florida State ever. That was in 2010. Six years later, the only major name that remains the same is Jimbo Fisher, who was in his first year as head coach of Florida State after Bobby Bowden’s retirement. Can Mitch Trubisky and the fast-paced Carolina offense of today snap the Seminoles’ FBS-leading 22-game home winning streak?

The key matchup will be Dalvin Cook against the North Carolina defense. Gene Chizik’s defense has been terrible against the run all year and he hasn’t been able to fix it. The Heels rank 111th in FBS by allowing 240 rushing yards per game. Add in a Heisman hopeful coming off his best game of the season and this could get ugly. Cook broke the 100-yard mark for the first time this year against South Florida last week and just kept on chugging. The junior finished with 267 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries. His first touch of the game, which happened to be the first offensive snap for FSU, Cook took it 75 yards to the house.

Florida State’s major problem, somewhat surprisingly, has been its defense. Admittedly, their numbers are slightly inflated having faced the human touchdown, Lamar Jackson, but the Seminoles have surrendered at least 34 points to every FBS team they have played. Their secondary is just not the same without fifth overall pick Jalen Ramsey. Carolina’s 13th-ranked passing attack could take advantage of that.

After opening as 12-point dogs, Carolina is now getting 10.5.
