The Volunteers look to be the SEC East favorite as they are 4-0 this season. The Georgia Bulldogs are licking their wounds after a 45-14 loss to the Ole Miss Rebels…

The Tennessee Volunteers are on a roll after snapping an 11 game losing streak to the Florida Gators last week. There is a lot of buzz coming out of Knoxville this season as the Volunteers are looking to win an SEC title. This week they have a chance to over take the SEC East division and go 2-0 in the SEC.

Quarterback Josh Dobbs has shown his growth this season. Dobbs has 10 passing touchdowns and four rushing touchdowns with 805 passing yards and 241 rushing yards. He is the second leading rusher on the team.

The Tennessee defense has shaken off key injuries to cornerback Cameron Sutton and linebacker Darrin Kirkland Jr. to remain at its very best. The Bulldogs will bring their very best this week, led by running back Nick Chubb.

Georgia running back Nick Chubb is banged up entering this week’s game, however. He left last week’s game with a sprained ankle. He has just 422 rushing yards and three touchdowns on the young season.

Quarterback Jacob Eason is sixth in the SEC in passing yards with 780 and his three interceptions are fourth in the SEC. It has been tough sledding for the first year quarterback under head coach Kirby Smart.

In last week’s loss to Ole Miss, Eason was 16 for 36 with 137 passing yards and an interception. He had a completion percentage of 44.4 percent.
