The Badgers defense gives up just 11.8 points per game, 7th best in the FBS. Last week, the defense didn’t give up a touchdown or any points in the second half. They forced four turnovers in the game and allowed just six points.

The offense looked good behind the arm of quarterback Alex Hornibrook. Hornibrook did well to manage the game, going 16 for 26 with 195 yards and a touchdown. Against a much better defense, Hornibrook will be looked upon to do more.

For Michigan, everything starts behind do it all linebacker Jabrill Peppers. Peppers 7.5 tackles for loss are fifth most in the FBS. He is first in punt return yards in the FBS and Big Ten Conference with 227 yards.

Peppers is averaging 22.7 yards per punt return. He also has a punt return for a touchdown.

The junior linebacker is second in the Big Ten in solo tackles with 22 and seventh in pass break ups with 10. The Wolverines will look to their star linebacker to lead the way to victory this week.

Michigan is 4-0 and 1-0 in the Big Ten as well.
