The Virginia Cavaliers have won two straight games and are now 1-0 in the ACC. The Cavaliers defense came up big last week in their 34-20 victory over Duke. The defense tied a program record five interceptions and recovered a fumble for a touchdown in the endzone to put the game out of reach.

Three Cavaliers players registered 10+ tackles a piece. Linebacker Micah Kiser led the way with 18 tackles, two tackles for loss, two pass breakups, and a sack.

Safety Kelvin Rainey recorded 14 tackles and linebacker Zach Bradshaw recorded 12 tackles. Defensive backs Juan Thornhill and Bryce Hall recorded two interceptions apiece as well.

The defense set the tone and the offense followed suit. Quarterback Kurt Benkert finished with 336 passing yards and three touchdowns.

This Week: Bye

The Virginia Cavaliers have a bye week before facing Pittsburgh on October 15.
