The Pittsburgh Panthers got back in the win column this week with a 43-27 victory over Marshall. The Panthers owned a 27-0 lead at halftime and held off a Thundering Herd rally that put the score at 30-27 before Pittsburgh pulled away from good.

Two weeks after losing the go-ahead late, Pittsburgh showed its resilience, this time pulling out the victory. Running back James Conner scored a rushing touchdown to put his school-record consecutive streak at 13 games.

Quarterback Nathan Peterman recorded a career-high 280 passing yards and two passing touchdowns. Wide receiver Jester Weah recorded seven catches for 176 receiving yards and a touchdown.

This Week: The Panthers are back on their ACC schedule this week as they face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Pittsburgh won their last meeting but are 3-2 in their last five meetings.
