The Pac-12 Week 5 Power Rankings are out and the conference has a new king.

The Pac-12 football Week 5 power rankings are now out, and we have a new king. I will be taking a look at each team and rank them based on performance and their previous ranking.

The Pac-12 are now in conference mode only and there is plenty to pass around. Let’s start with the upsets. On Thursday night, the Stanford Cardinal took on the Washington Huskies. The game was basically over by halftime as the Huskies rolled to a 44-6 victory.

The Utah Utes battled the California Golden Bears and lost 28-23. The game was close all the way through even though Cal had the upper hand much of the way. In the other games, the USC Trojans found a much-needed win over the undefeated Arizona State Sun Devils. In what could be the biggest upset thus far the Washington State Cougars ran over the Oregon Ducks.

The UCLA Bruins had very little trouble with the Arizona Wildcats, winning 45-24. Colorado had no issues with the worst team in the conference, the Oregon State Beavers, winning 47-6.

I will be using my week three article Pac 12 Football: Week Four Power Rankings as a springboard for my Week 5 Power Rankings.
