The Washington Huskies enter their Pac-12 game with the Oregon Ducks on the winning side of things. The Ducks are 0-2 in the Pac-12 so far this season…

The Washington Huskies are 5-0 after handing Stanford their worst loss since 2007. The Huskies almost shutout the Cardinal in a 44-6 rout.

Their work will be cut out for them this week as they face the Pac-12 number one rushing attack in the Oregon Ducks. They have lost the last 12 games to the Ducks.

In last week’s game, running back Myles Gaskin rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback Jake Browning threw for 210 yards and three passing touchdowns. It was a nearly perfect game for the Huskies all around.

The Washington defense held Stanford to just 29 total rushing yards and forced two fumbles in the game. The Cardinal were 2 for 12 on third down conversions and did not score an offensive touchdown in the game.

The Huskies defense allows just 12.8 points a game, eighth in the FBS, while averaging 45.4 points per game, sixth in the FBS.

The Oregon Ducks average a Pac-12 best 263.4 rushing yards per game. Despite that, they have lost their first two Pac-12 games of the season.

The Ducks are off to a slow start and have lost their last three games. At 2-3, they’re headed in the opposite direction of the Huskies.

Last week, they lost to the Washington State Cougars for the second straight season. The Ducks haven’t lost to the Washington Huskies since 2003. That could change after this week.

The Ducks defense allows 36.2 points per game this season, 109th in the FBS. They allowed 651 total yards of offense and 36 first downs to the Cougars last week.

Oregon quarterback Dakota Prukop went 14 for 22 with 132 passing yards and an interception. There was talk this week of starting true freshman quarterback Justin Herbert.
