College Football Rankings 2016: Projected AP Top 25 after Week 6
By Zach Bigalke
Despite playing at home in Fayetteville, Arkansas never had a chance at pulling off the upset against the Crimson Tide on Saturday. Alabama cruised to a 19-point victory over another ranked opponent. Though the defense allowed 400 passing yards to Austin Allen, it also racked up six sacks and forced three interceptions. Jalen Hurts was an efficient 13-of-17 passing for 253 yards and two touchdowns. Damien Harris added 122 yards on 13 carries as Alabama ran away with the road win.
Nick Saban’s team just looks more and more dangerous with each passing week, and while they continue to get tested they ace each Saturday exam. Next on their plate is a trip to Neyland Stadium to take on a Tennessee team still smarting from its loss to Texas A&M this weekend. The Tide will look to extend a nine-game winning streak. Then they have to turnaround and welcome the Aggies to Tuscaloosa, before getting a well-deserved rest before taking on LSU at Tiger Stadium. They get Mississippi State and Auburn at home to end the season, with FCS Chattanooga in between. Any loss they take will be an upset at this point.
