The Duke Blue Devils move up three spots to 11 in this week’s power rankings. Despite the rainy and windy conditions from Hurricane Matthew, the Blue Devils found a way to win 13-6 over Army.

In a game that featured 17 punts and 17 total first downs, the Blue Devils defense proved to be the tougher foe. They allowed just 49 passing yards, although their own offense had 44 passing yards of its own.

The Blue Devils defense forced three turnovers and held the lead all game long in what was a muck it up style game given the conditions.

Quarterback Daniel Jones and Parker Boehme threw a touchdown pass each. Duke went for two points on their second quarter score but did not convert.
