You have to give credit to Georgia Bulldogs running back Nick Chubb for returning from a devastating injury last year and playing at a high level this season. However, the production hasn’t exactly been enough to lead the Bulldogs to glory.

The Bulldogs are 4-2 this season, which wouldn’t be bad for a lot of teams. However, in the hyper competitive SEC, Georgia’s chances of a College Football Playoff are more than likely already gone.

As for Chubb, he finally picked things back up this week after carrying the ball just once against Tennessee. Chubb finished with 121 yards and two touchdowns in the 28-14 win over South Carolina. He now has 546 yards and five scores on the year.

A rough four-game stretch has hurt Chubb in the running back power rankings, but a few more big games like this one against the Gamecocks could vault him into the top five by the end of the year.
