Lee Corso’s College GameDay headgear pick: Ohio State vs. Wisconsin
By Jordan Luth
Check out Lee Corso’s headgear pick for Ohio State vs Wisconsin, as GameDay makes its sixth trip to Madison, Wisconsin.
As Week 7 of the college football season begins, College GameDay made its second appearance in Wisconsin. During the first week of the season, GameDay was at Lambeau Field for the LSU vs Wisconsin showdown, a game that Badgers won. This week they travel to Madison for the first time since 2011, as the No. 8 Wisconsin Badgers host the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes. This matchup between top-10 teams will have a major impact on how the end of the Big Ten season shapes out, potentially impacting the College Football Playoff.
Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett may be the focal point of attention on the football field, but when college GameDay comes to town, everyone is watching Lee Corso and what he does with his head-gear pick. For Corso, this will be head-gear pick number 283. His overall record is 187-95.
When it comes to Ohio State and Wisconsin, Corso has put on the Brutus Buckeye head 20 times and is 14-6 when doing so. Corso has picked Wisconsin only four times and is 2-2. One of those correct predictions was Wisconsin’s upset win back in 2010 over the No. 1 Buckeyes. It has been a few years since Corso has been able to string a three game win streak together. With a correct pick today he would have one. Wisconsin has won the last three times GameDay has come to Madison. Will Corso take that into consideration, or will he take the safe pick with Ohio State?
Corso did indeed take the safe bet and picked Ohio State.
This is now the 21st time Corso has dawned the Brutus head, will it result in yet another win for Corso or will it be three straight losses for him when picking Ohio State?
