The Ohio State Buckeyes and Wisconsin Badgers meet in a matchup of the Big Ten’s best. This week’s game could give us an early glimpse at the Big Ten title winner…

The second ranked Ohio State Buckeyes come into this week 5-0 on the season and 2-0 in Big Ten play. This week they travel to Wisconsin for the first time since their Big Ten Championship meeting two years ago.

The Buckeyes have remained relatively unchallenged in their quest to a Big Ten title. Their defense is allowing just 10.8 per game and 246.4 yards per game.

But it’s the offense that has been the talk out of Columbus.

Quarterback J.T. Barrett has put his development as a passer on full display. Barrett leads the conference in passing touchdowns with 15 and is first in passing efficiency with a 166.6 rating.

The senior quarterback led the way with his legs and through the air in last week’s 38-17 win over Indiana. He ran for 137 yards and a touchdown and passed for 93 yards and a touchdown.

The passing game struggled a bit but this week should be full of adjustments as they are facing a much tougher Wisconsin Badgers team.

The Wisconsin Badgers are coming off a tough 14-7 loss to the Michigan Wolverines. But their return home has victory on their mind as they face another tough opponent. They are 4-1 on the season and 1-1 in Big Ten Play.

The Badgers were sluggish all game long especially on offense in their 14-7 loss. The offense managed to earn just eight first downs and 159 total yards of offense.

Quarterback Alex Hornibrook threw three interceptions in the game after it looked like he turned a corner the week before against Michigan State.

The Badgers rushing attack was held to just 71 yards and no touchdowns in the game.

Wisconsin looks to make some offensive adjustments this week or a Big Ten title is out of reach this season.
