Check out how to live stream the ACC Coastal division matchup of the Pittsburgh Panthers (4-2, 1-1 ACC) at the Virginia Cavaliers (2-3, 1-0).

The ACC Coastal is generally seen as a three-horse race between Miami, North Carolina, and Virginia Tech. Miami has the big NFL prospect at quarterback. The Tar Heels are the defending champs. Virginia Tech has looked impressive, including a walloping of Carolina on their own field during a hurricane. However, Pittsburgh and Virginia both could play their way into the race with expected chaos at the top. This game will determine which team still has a shot at that inside straight.

Virginia’s first season under Bronco Mendenhall did not get off to the rousing start fans, boosters, and the team had hoped. The Cavaliers started 0-3 in terrible fashion. The Richmond Spiders, an FCS team, beat UVA by three scores on their own field to open the Mendenhall era. That was followed by road losses to an Oregon team that bears no resemblance to the juggernaut of the last 5 years aside from the wrapper and Connecticut. Luckily for the former BYU coach, the Cavaliers righted the ship and won the next two against a decent Central Michigan team and the ACC opener at Duke. Virginia is coming off a bye going into their homecoming game against the Panthers.

Pittsburgh heads south to Charlottesville coming off a three-point win over Georgia Tech. Kicker Chris Blewitt, quite possibly the most unfortunate name a kicker could have, made a 31-yard field goal as time expired to give Pitt their first ACC win of the season. All of the Panthers’ games but Marshall have been decided by one score. Three games have been decided by three or fewer points.

If Virginia is going to pull off the home upset in front of their alumni reliving their former glory for the weekend, junior quarterback Kurt Benkert and the 28th-ranked passing game will be key. Pittsburgh’s secondary has proved to be vulnerable by surrendering more than 300 yards per game, 123rd nationally.
