The SEC is Alabama’s world, and everyone else is just living in it. We have now passed the half way point of the season and Alabama looks poised to claim the SEC crown once again.

With their win over Tennessee on Saturday, Alabama now has notable SEC wins over Ole Miss, Arkansas and Tennessee. With these wins, the Crimson Tide has positioned itself to once again be in and win, the SEC Championship. Elsewhere in the conference, Arkansas defeated Ole Miss in a thriller (never heard that one before have we?). LSU dominated its out of conference matchup against Southern Mississippi and Florida absolutely throttled Missouri. And did we mention Vanderbilt beat Georgia with only 171 yards of total offense? Don’t believe me? Well it happened. Elsewhere in the conference, 4 teams had bye weeks.

Here are the power rankings for week 7, starting off with a new team at the bottom:

South Carolina had a bye week this past week.

Due to Vanderbilts win over Georgia, South Carolina now claims the bottom spot in the SEC.
