What was thought to be a sure win for Georgia, and a way for them to continue to stay in the SEC East race, turned out to be anything other than what the Bulldogs needed.

While Georgia was successful at moving the ball against the Commodores, they were seldom able to turn the offensive output into points. The biggest detriment to Georgia was the lack of a run game as Nick Chubb was only able to gain 40 yards rushing on the day. Had Chubb been better, the outcome of the game might have been different.

Georgia is at a serious crossroads and a bye week coming up couldn’t be any better for them. It will be much needed and will allow the team to reassess themselves and try to finish the season strongly.
